As I write this article, there has never been a more exciting time from a facilities point of view; something we have been working towards for the last four years feels like it's about to come to fruition and give us every change of extending and enhancing the offering to our players.

The 3G facility at Newton Health (formerly Selwyn Jones) is being built as we speak and we believe will be ready come January; our players will have access to this at evenings and weekends.

We have secured Willow Bank school this season for match day use which really helps demands on the 5v5, 7v7 and 9v9 games.

And finally King George V playing fields is progressing; our ambition is to transfer the asset with a long term lease and to work with the football foundation to deliver a world class football hub for our junior teams.

All of this is great - but naturally comes at a cost and this is where we need your help!

Last One Standing is a fun way to raise funds for our club. Whilst you need to be over 18 to play on the Betmate app, anyone can play and each account will allow you to have up to 10 goes so you can invite your friends and family to have a go too.

£10 will go a long way .. and there is a chance to win big money. The last winner scooped £1125 simply by picking a Premier league team to win for consecutive weeks.
